Charly's Chili Pordagee Won Tons Ono Garlic Steak Kamaboko Cucumber

Charly's Chili
From the Kitchen of:
Charly Espina and Shannon Scott of KCCN FM100

    1 lb. hamburger
    1/2 Portuguese sausage
    garlic, crushed
    onion, for taste
    chili powder
    dash of cumin
    3-4 whole cloves
    garlic salt & pepper (to taste)
    1 15 oz. can tomato sauce

    Brown sausage with garlic and onion, add hamburger. Drain. oil. Add spices then tomato sauce.

    Add:
    chopped green bell peppers
    fresh mushrooms
    Del Monte Zesty diced tomatoes with jalapeno (medium hot)
    Simmer for about 20 minutes, then serve.

Pordagee Won Tons

    1 can Spam
    2 zucchinis
    won ton pi
    oil

    Slice Spam and zucchini. Wrap in won ton pi. Fry in oil. Serve with buttermilk, ranch dressing or sauce of your choice.

Ono Garlic Steak

    Steak
    7-9 garlic cloves
    1/4 c. salt
    1 1/2 c. virgin olive oil
    pepper

    Lomi the minced garlic into the steak. Pour the olive oil on steak. Season steak with salt and pepper to your liking. Add any extra special ingredients of our choice. Marinate overnight. Cook on grill or fry it on stovetop at medium-high temperature.

Kamaboko Cucumber

    1 kamaboko (with hollow middle)
    1 cucumber (same size or smaller than kamaboko)
    1 c. mayonnaise
    2 Tbs. shoyu

    Place the peeled cucumber in the kamaboko. Slice into pieces. Mix may and shoyu in small dish. Serve with kamaboko.
