Chicken Fried Steak

2-3 ea Rib Eye Steak, pounded flat/thin
Salt & Pepper
Egg Wash

Aeole Dip:
1 c Mayonnaise
1 t Dijon Mustard
1 t Sugar
2 T Green Onion, minced
1 t Garlic

Season steaks with salt and pepper. Dip in egg wash and coat evenly with panko. Deep fry in vegetable/cooking oil until golden brown. Serve with choice of rice and/or Portuguese bean soup if desired.     


Local Corn Dog w/ Portuguese Sausage

4 or 5 ea Portuguese sausage Links, about 4 to 6 in long
Bamboo skewers, insert into sausage sticks

Bienet batter:
2 c Flour
1 c Cornmeal
1 t Baking Powder
4 c Milk
2 Eggs
Salt & Pepper

Coat sausage skewers in bienet batter and deep fry in vegetable oil until golden brown. Place on serving plate laid out with paper napkin/towel to absorb excess oil. Serving with coleslaw is recommended.
