Homemade Pizza Sauce

1 jar Pizza Sauce
4 cloves Garlic, crushed
Sweet Basil leaves to taste
ThreeTablespoons Brown Sugar
One quarter cup Butter

Combine ingredients in a large saucepot and simmer for one hour. 


Homemade Pizza

8 Ounces of water
1 ounce of milk
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cups of bread flour
2 packages Rapid dry yeast
2 tablespoons sugar

Knead dough, cover with cloth and let rise in a warm area of your kitchen, but not a hot area. Generously grease pizza pan with olive oil, put dough in pan, with a little olive oil on your hands, and press out dough with your fingers. The dough does not have to be pressed against the sides of pan. Spread desired amount of pizza tomato sauce over top, sprinkle oregano, spread sautéed Maui onions, sprinkle parmesan cheese, apply one layer of mozzarella cheese then finally place either Italian sausage or pepperoni on top. Bake at 400 degrees for approximately 12 minutes, and then place under the broiler for several minutes to brown cheese on top, if desired. 


Princess Chicken Hekka

3 pounds Chicken thighs
1 can Baby corn
1 can Straw mushrooms
1 can Button mushrooms
1 can Bamboo shoots, sliced
1 can Beer
1 Large onion, sliced
1 Thumb size piece of ginger, peeled and sliced thick
Some garlic
4 package Long rice
Brown sugar and shoyu to taste
2-3 Green onions

Brown chicken with the round onion, ginger and garlic, then transfer to crock pot with remaining ingredients (except long rice). Stew at least two hours the night before your potluck. Just before time to leave soak long rice a few minutes (see package directions), then stir into crock pot and garnish top with chopped green onion. Serve with rice.
