Blueberry Cobbler

One quarter cup butter
One cup cake flour
One and one half teaspoons baking powder
One half teaspoon salt
One quarter cup sugar
One half cup half and half
One quarter cup water
Two cups fresh blueberries
One third cup corn syrup
One eighth cup water

Pour melted butter into a shallow baking dish.

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, half and half and water. Pour mixture evenly over the butter. In a separate bowl, combine blueberries, water and corn syrup. Spoon evenly over the batter. Bake at three hundred and fifty degrees for forty minutes.

Apple Crisp

Apple Mixture:

Eight cups Granny Smith apple slices
One and one half cups brown sugar
One cup flour
One tablespoon ground cinnamon

Peel and core apples. Slice into sixteenths. Mix all of the ingredients together. Sprinkle over the apple slices. Mix well and place into glass custard cups. Top heavily with streusel.

Streusel:
One and one half cups butter
One and one half cups granulated sugar
3 cups flour

Mix butter and sugar till partially creamy. Add flour slowly. Mix until crumbly. Do not over mix. Top apple mixture heavily with streusel. Bake at three hundred and fifty degrees for forty five minutes, until golden brown. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
